If we want to reach real peace in this world, we should start educating children. A very apt quote said by father of nation Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi and Lal bahadur Shastri Jayanti was celebrated at Bensons International academy on 2/10/2019. The main aim of celebrating birth anniversaries of these two personalities is to make the children aware about their struggle for freedom and scarifies to the country. A devotional ambience prevailed as the programme started with prayer song. The dignitaries offered the garland to the photographs of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal bahadur Shastri. Students and teachers gave speeches in different languages like Kannada, Hindi and English. The speeches threw light on the life, struggle for independence and their sacrifice for the country.
